(Nice 18 Inch Brown Trout On The Middle Provo!)
Had a great adventure taking Jeremy out fishing yesterday. He lives in Park City, Utah and has done lot’s of other fishing but has never tried fly fishing until yesterday. Right as we got to our secret fishing spot, I threw is line in the water and no joke, he had a fish on instantly. He pulled it up and out of the water and it broke the line. I hadn’t even yet explained to him any technique…sorry to break it to ya Jeremy but it was all luck and no skill.
But then after giving instructions on how to fly fish it was only 5 min into it and he caught a nice 15 inch Brown Trout(picture below). About 10 min later he then caught the nice 18 inch Brown Trout shown above. Good work Jeremy, nice fishin’!
What To Do In Park City Besides Skiing – Fly Fishing!

What a Catch. Took Larry out during a snow storm and he slayed ‘em. I’m usually ontime for pick up but this one was an unusual trip. Pickup was at 9:30 and as I was driving up the canyon parleys required chains or 4×4. I had to go grab some chains and then I was on my way. Traffic was only going 30 mph on a 65 mph rode. Larry was way understanding since it was a blizzard out. We got to our spot an we had a fish on our first cast and landed a fish within the first five minutes. He caught a total of 6 fish within 3 hours. Nice Work Larry! Again it was unusual as we went home and the canyon to get back to Park City was shut down, we had to go around the backway. It was a fun trip. Very memorable and I’m glad Larry was still excited to go in the snow storm. It paid off, it was only his first time fly fishing and he did so good!
Fly Fishing Utah Guide

If your looking for a Utah fly fishing guide adventure, now is the time! I want you to know that the spawn is now in full swing. These next 3 weeks (the rest of November) will be an amazing opportunity to catch fish.
This past week I had the opportunity to take out Mike, a client from Indiana. Together we had a blast. Within the first 15 minutes he had already landed a very nice 16 or 17 inch brown on a provo river egg patern. Then within the four hour time period we had stopped counting and we guessed he caught over a dozen fish after a half day of fishing…all real nice fish.
Now is the time. Come join us to fish Utah fly fishing rivers.

Park City Fly Fishing
Published October 7, 2010 | Robbyn and I had a great Park City fly fishing trip today, started at 7:15 am, and absolutely loved it! It was great getting to meet such a happy, thankful women…Robbyn, what a sweetheart. She wanted to go out fly fishing with or without her husband, he decided to opt out, I’m sure he wished he came now after hearing the stories. Talk about a serious fly fisher WOMAN! Her dad would be proud.
Robbyn, thanks again for fly fishing with Utah Pro Fly Fishing. Look forward to having you come back to Park City some day. Go Phillies!
